In the Yamaha custom family, the 535 has more of a utility vocation, without denying its original spirit. It must be said that its aesthetics are very flattering with its engine of maousse aspect, its contained template and its “pocket” tank. Particularly at ease in the city thanks to its superior handling and low saddle height, the Virago can venture out on the road as long as it is riding quietly.. The autonomy is very limited and the comfort -convenient – typed custom: it is better to avoid bumps. The twin is not a Superbike model, one can imagine, but it is lively and nervous from the top of its 42 hp. The braking is sufficient for this machine and its use. The cardan, the strong point of the machine, is very discreet in use – it also guarantees a much less restrictive maintenance than a conventional chain. Without being a model of its kind, the 535 is a nice custom, more suited to the city than to the great outdoors, although it can take you on a trip on occasion..
