With its MT-10, Yamaha will have taken its time to renew its offer in the segment, but has finally ensured a high caliber offspring to the FZ1. And it should not be missed. In this category, the competition has set the level very high. And the MT-10 offered something to answer: the crossplane engine of the R1 (reduced to 160 horsepower), the chassis from the same source, the brakes too…. In short, the R1 as a roadster. The engine manufacturers have revised the engine mapping and the selector receives the reinforcement of a QSS shifter, active when upshifting. Remember that the bike is equipped with three maps via the D-Mode system, 3-level traction control, an anti-dribble clutch, a cruise control that can be activated from 50 km / h, a hell of a temperament and a design that appeals to everyone. It is perhaps on this one and last point that Yamaha should make an effort..
Powerful, technological, joining the top of large-caliber roadsters, the Yamaha MT-10 does justice to the SP designation. The price will reach the level of quality of the machine, without waiting for the mass blow of certain European productions..
