Yamaha XJ 600 Diversion N and S 1999

Menus

The 600 diversion went through a decade watching developments with an amused smile. Built around a classic tubular steel frame and driven by a quiet air-cooled 4-cylinder, the XJ goes everywhere and is accessible to as many people as possible.. We can blame it for its high consumption, its mediocre box, or its lack of torque, while these are very meager complaints compared to what it brings you. First of all, its mini price and its road services, especially in the S version where the journey can be considered serenely. The wide and soft saddle is a joy, as are the suspensions – the whole thing brings to the passenger as to the pilot an excellent comfort. Accessible to all, flexible and at ease in the city, the XJ is not very playful (it does not claim to be), but accommodates all tasks. The handling is good, as well as the braking which is one of the only two modifications that the diversion knew during its life: the adoption of a second brake disc in 1998, and of a fork which goes from 38 to 41 mm. You want me to tell you: she’s a good friend, and she’s been one of the best sellers for over 10 years.
