The mono and Yamaha trail is a long story. In line with the 125, the manufacturer offers 2 sauces to wander in the middle of potholes: 2-stroke engine with the DTR (distant descendant of the famous DTMX), or valve engine with this XTR, equipped with a mono 4 time whose internal dimensions are perfectly square.
It is equipped with a catalytic converter and an air induction system to be clean, a very nice style to attract the public, and a seat much lower than on the DTR to be accessible (uh, 860 mm high anyway) to more people – Yamaha thinks of young people !
And as the big XTR has a supermotard sister, the X, the 125 is also entitled to it. This 125 R is supported by an XTX version with 17 “wheels and a larger front brake disc..
