This year, three days before the first free practice, the sole supplier of the MotoGP category claims to have understood the lesson. “We learned a lot from racing in Argentina last year,” says Piero Taramasso, two-wheeler manager at Michelin Motorsport: “our goal is to improve on the tracks where we suffered last year and Termas is here. one of them. We hope to pass a course here. The circuit is not used often and we expect it to be quite dirty when we arrive. The lap average will be one of the highest of the season. Tires front and rear will therefore be very busy, not to mention the weather which can be uncertain in this region at this time of the year. The variables are numerous, but with the experience gained and the improvements made to our tires over the last 12 months , we are ready for this challenge and everyone in the team is more determined than ever ".

Michelin will offer a soft, medium and hard tire for the front and rear, respectively identified by a white stripe, without a stripe and a yellow stripe.
