Kenan Sofuoglu, victim of numerous injuries in World Supersport, officially ends his career after 20 years of motorcycle racing. The 33-year-old Turkish rider will compete in his last event this weekend in Imola.

Kenan Sofuoglu will contest his very last race this weekend in Imola (Italy), the fifth round of the WorldSSP World Championship. This early retirement puts an end to 20 years of motorcycle racing, crowned by Supersport (,,, and) !

We have won the world title five times and I’m very grateful. Lots of people have supported me, and I want to thank them. For the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team and for my fans, I will take the track for the last time on May 12 and 13 in Italy ".
