Moto GP: Zarco renews at Tech3 in 2018
On the eve of the French motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend at Le Mans, the brilliant Johann Zarco has just confirmed that he will stay at Tech3 next year !
"I am very happy to know that I will continue my MotoGP experience with the Monster Yamaha Tech3 team in 2018," said the talented 26-year-old rider. "Right now I’m enjoying my incredible debut in this category where I’ve learned a lot, and it’s fantastic that the team is renewing their confidence in me for next year.. I want to thank my manager Laurent Fellon, who has always helped me, and all those who have supported me since I started riding in the world championship. We can see that Tech3 is a great team, because when you attack you can get good results. I am very happy but this is only the beginning, I will continue to learn and improve so that I can fight regularly for the podium. Once I get to that level, I plan to continue as far as possible. In 2018 the rules will not change and I will have a year of experience which will certainly help me to be on top ".

"So we can now announce that Johann Zarco has decided to stay with us in 2018, it’s great news for the whole Monster Yamaha Tech3 team but it’s also positive for MotoGP around the world and especially in France ", notes the team manager Herve Poncharal. "We could have perhaps waited a little longer to make this decision, but he told me that he was happy and ready to continue his involvement with us. We are very proud to have this confidence on Johann’s part. . He’s already brought us amazing things, like excitement and joy, but he’s also made us proud. ".
