The Twin Cam 88 B engine quickly and successfully established itself throughout the Harley lineup. It appeared in 1999, the same year as this new roadster: the Road Glide. It fits right in between the majestic Electra Glide and the Road King with a more refined style.. And the bike has enough to cut the road: large rigid suitcases, imposing fork crown, radio-cassette, cruise control, cigarette lighter (if we love that a shot goes off without a hitch …).
This Glide pushes further towards refinement by offering you (among other things) 2 storage compartments, an outside temperature indicator and a pre-installation for an Intercom system. With the 1450 engine, the machine can cruise in peace. The comfort is present and the life of the engine enchants the journey. The road behavior is correct, the ground clearance acceptable, but it is better to drive senatorial on the tortuous roads. And as with any good Harley, there is no need to exceed legal speeds. Charm takes care of everything. The spirit that comes to us from the other side of the Atlantic is distilled with each stroke of the piston.
