Twist at 24H Motos: Yamaha n ° 7 snatches pole position from Kawasaki n ° 11 !
The race has not yet started as a first rebound is already animating the 24H Motos: following the withdrawal of Takuya Fujita, ill, it is the time of the replacement driver Max Neukirchner that is taken into account… And this one being faster, the average lap time puts the Yamaha n ° 7 ahead of the Kawasaki n ° 11 !
It is finally the Yamaha YZF-R1 n ° 7 of the YART which could start tomorrow in pole position of the 24H Motos: while the Austrian team had placed second at 0.155 sec of the Kawasaki n ° 11 in the aggregate of time, a change of driver opportunely modifies the average lap times !

"After battling his stomach ache today, Takuya Fukita made the decision to withdraw from the race to give the team every chance", explains the Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART).
Consequence: it is the time of his replacement driver, Max Neukirchner, which is taken into account in the average time! "The time of Max being faster than that of Takuya, the average of qualifying times is fast enough to put YART in pole position of the 24 Hours Motos", rejoices the Austrian team..
The starting order tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. will not change much for a 24 hour race, however. !
