The British rider, however, did not have a broken femur as the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) had first announced based on the first findings of circuit doctors, but remains for the moment in hospital in order to to "treat his leg injury", says Yamaha Racing.
"No broken bone on the x-rays, I just have to have my leg sewn up and assess other injuries," Bradley Smith said on his Twitter account..
