After being transformed into a Strada model to compete with the supermotards type Yamaha XTX and Fonda FMX, the Pegaso comes back to us with a new evolution, developed with the basis of the Strada mentioned previously. Some small alterations to allow the machine to venture off the road, where the paths mix earth and stones. We add a typical mudguard under the fork crown, we turn the rims fitted with sport tires to replace them with spoked wheels with mixed tires, and we increase the suspension travel. Here it is ready to roam from the city to the countryside with the ease, comfort and simplicity characteristic of this category..
Nothing new on the engine side. Like the road version, the Pegaso is equipped with the Yamaha 660 unit with 4 valves and injection. A specific mapping allows it to output 50 hp, 2 better than the Japanese version, as well as a bit of torque in addition. For the practical aspects, Aprilia thinks about your daily life with 2 boxes (one under the saddle, one above the tank), an adjustable screen in 2 positions, a combined analog / digital instrumentation controlled from the left stalk. And if the saddle seems too low (820 mm), you can ask for the option to raise it by 40 mm.
