Manufactured according to the model of the RSV 1000 R, the Haga Replica was only marketed to 300 copies, and only 30 for France. Limited model whose characteristics are the pretty decoration taken from the official Aprilia of Noriyuki Haga that can be admired in World Superbike.. The magnificent Ohlins fork is trapped in a superb triple tree cut in the mass, blue in tint with the HAGA signature. It also has a racing kit: an Akrapovic 2-into-2 exhaust line, an Eprom for retouching the injection map, and a 16-tooth pinion. It is lighter, and its double silencer gives it a better distribution of masses. When braking, and when setting on the angle, it benefits from better stability.
It was on the Italian circuit of Monza that it was presented. At the first gallop, the gain provided by the pinion is undeniable, improving the spontaneity of the twin. We hang the breaker quite easily on the intermediaries. Always as agile and lively, the RSV is formidable and imperial in its sequences and straightens up with a gesture to expel itself with speed at each exit of a curve. The usual inertia at the change of angle specific to twins is completely forgotten with this machine. The ultralight rims are probably no stranger to this. Only the braking was open to criticism, because of insufficient bite when gripping the lever. But let us not be more royalist than the king; for those who want to stay on the road, the Haga Replica is just perfect.
