Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR and Factory at INTERMOT

New graphics and electronic landing gear

For the 2019 model year, Aprilia is upgrading the Tuono V4 1100 RR naked bike with new graphics. The factory variant also has an electronically controlled chassis. Both will celebrate their premiere at INTERMOT in Cologne.

Aprilia presents the sporty naked bike Tuono V4 1100 Factory for the coming season with electronic, semi-active chassis and a new design. The normal Tuono only gets the new design.

Semi-active Ohlins chassis

The electronically controlled chassis comes from Ohlins.

The semi-active chassis was developed by Ohlins and adapted to the Tuono Factory together with Aprilia. The driver can choose between the semi-active and manual mode with a switch on the handlebar. In addition, the three modes Track, Sport and Road can be preset in manual mode. In each mode, the chassis automatically adapts to the general conditions. In addition, the drivers can adjust all presets to their own liking within certain limits. In addition to the fork, whose spring travel has increased from 117 to 125 mm, and the shock absorber, the steering damper is also integrated into the chassis control. All settings are visualized on the 4.3-inch cockpit display.

New colors

The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR is available for the new model year in the colors Sachsenring Red and Magny-Cours Gray. The factory version uses the classic Aprilia colors black and red. Nothing changes in the drive technology.

Aprilia has not yet announced prices for the new models.
