Bajaj is worth 11 billion euros
The Indian company Bajaj is currently worth over one trillion Indian rupees, which corresponds to around eleven billion euros – more than any other motorcycle manufacturer currently.

“Bajaj car” is the name of the company that marks the largest vehicle manufacturer in India and ranks fourth worldwide in the field of motorized two- and three-wheelers. The 75-year-old company is active in more than 70 countries with the brands Pulsar, Boxer, Platinum and RE. On January 1, 2021, the price of a share in the Bajaj Auto Group was 3,479 RS, which is the equivalent of 39.22 euros.
Cooperation with Triumph
Import, export production – in these areas the company has also entered into collaborations with European motorcycle manufacturers in recent years. In 2017, the cooperation between Bajaj and Triumph was announced, whereby it is not about financial participation, but about the joint development of motorcycles. Since January 2020 it has been known that these are models in the medium displacement segment from 200 to 750 cm³, which are built by Bajaj in India and sold throughout Asia. Prices in India should start at under 200,000 rupees, which would be around 2,500 euros. The new models in the medium displacement classes are also to be offered in Germany and other markets in which Triumph is already represented.
Participation in KTM
The basis of the cooperation with KTM is different, because Bajaj has been a shareholder here since 2007 and owns almost half of all KTM shares. In this case, too, complete models are produced in India, such as the KTM Duke 200 and the Duke 390 as well Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401. Bajaj also takes on the development, production and sales of new models that are exclusively reserved for the Asian market, such as the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250.
