Comparison test sports tires (MOTORRAD 11/2017)

3rd place: Except for the minimal instability on the racetrack, the S 21 presented itself as a solidly made all-rounder in our test. He is just as relaxed about the sporty chase on the country road as he is about a turn in the wet.

Air pressure front / rear 2.2 / 2.0 bar, 88 points, 5th place

When it made its debut in 2016, the Bridgestone S 21 on a BMW S 1000 RR was still our race tip, but with the Kawas ZX-10R it had to give up on the Alcarràs mogul slope. Steering precision and feedback are top notch, but after a few laps you catch yourself in slight flexing movements at the rear.

New: 89 points, 4th place; after 4000 km: 85 points, 4th place

In everyday life, the Bridgestone S 21 impresses with good feedback and precise steering behavior. As the mileage increases, it loses its neutrality, and the righting moment is also more pronounced.
