BMW R1250R conversion by Hornig

Faithful companion on country or mountain roads: This is how the R1250R presents itself and of course also benefits from the ShiftCam boxer engine. We have made it our business to optimize the roadster with our accessories and thus contribute to making the trip on this BMW naked bike even safer, more comfortable and more stylish.

An improvement that will not fail to have an effect, especially on longer journeys, is the handlebar riser. This area is enhanced by the steering head cap with emblem. The more upright posture means that the destination is reached more relaxed. The mirror extensions mean a bit of security, as you can now better see what is happening behind you. The built-in ZTechnik windshield brings calm, as the noise level of the wind is reduced to a minimum, which is due to the very good aerodynamics. Arriving safely is the most important thing, and so the right GPS mount with ram ball and the matching 60 mm clamp play a decisive role when it comes to having an optimal and unrestricted view of the navigation system. The same applies, of course, to the smartphone, which is why the Ram X-Grip clamp is also located on the motorcycle for a secure hold of this device. In this environment, the connectivity display should also be effectively protected from scratches, for which our protective films are ideally suited. The brake and clutch levers not only impress with their elegant design, but are also characterized by a high level of functionality with a total of six adjustment options. The brake lever enlargement ensures a firm step thanks to the slotted surface. The comfort of the seat is essential for our roadster, which is why we have reupholstered the seat, which leads to a significant increase in comfort. The rear and pillion seat pockets can be conveniently placed on the luggage rack or the rear seat and offer enough storage space for excursions, whereby they can be expanded from the standard 8 liters to 16 liters. The stainless steel crash bars and fork crash pads have also been designed to ensure the safety and integrity of the undisguised motorcycle.

The sturdy radiator grille provides effective protection for the radiator. You play it safe with our oil cap including emblem. This can only be removed with an Allen key or Torx through a hole in the side. Our ABS plastic mudguard protects the strut, exhaust and collector from dirt and stone chips. The additional fender extension is optimally adapted to the front fender. The built-in license plate holder allows a clearer view of the rear wheel. The side stand foot enlargement has been added so that the BMW R1250R will stand securely on all surfaces in the future. Better grip when shifting is achieved by enlarging the shift lever with O-rings. The footpeg relocation with the Multi Grip footpegs ensures driving comfort. In addition to the visual one, the wheel axle cover has a very practical advantage: it increases the cooling of the cardan through the holes. Together with the frame cover cap over the swing arm bearing, the bearing journal cover on the cardan, the covers for the strut mounting and the cover caps on the engine mount in combination with their frame cover caps, taken those on the rear frame, the swing arm bearing covers make the unaesthetic holes on the frame of the R1250R disappear. The foot brake fluid reservoir cover also creates individuality.

A real eye-catcher on our R1250R conversion are the universal rim edge stickers as well as the Remus Black Hawk exhaust.

GPS mount for BMW F900XR

With our new GPS bracket for the BMW F900XR, your navigation system is positioned directly above the dashboard.
