Some people would immediately claim that former Chancellor Helmut Kohl had no idea about motorcycles and are accordingly irritated to find it here. Well, a lot of people would even go so far as to claim that Kohl had no idea about a lot of things and, as Chancellor, had shown that often enough. But that’s political banter and belongs in the mirror. In fact, in 1984, Helmut Kohl outed himself to the motorcycle scene as Jean Paul. Long before the former Chancellor made himself the wrecking ball of any motorcycle aesthetic together with the BMW K1 in Hockenheim in 1989 (Toni Mang did not look tingly either, but deserves our undivided respect as the German GP record world champion), Kohl spoke at a legendary press conference, which was actually about his style of government, the most important sentence in the motorcycle world that every student would have to learn by heart in the first grade: “What matters is what comes out of the back.”

Before residents of popular motorcycle routes scream out, it must be possible to do something. When riding a motorcycle, it is by no means just about volume.
