The Petronas Sepang Racing Team has launched a mini race bike in cooperation with Ohvale. The model “Special Series MiniGP” is limited to 46 copies and will be available from September 2021.

Those who like to romp around the racetrack with a minibike can add a very special model to their fleet from September. The Petronas Sepang Racing Team, which is also represented in MotoGP, has put a very special miniature racing motorcycle on its wheels in cooperation with the minibike manufacturer Ohvale from Italy.

Comprehensive suspension update

PSRT

The Petronas SRT Ohvale Special Series is based on the Ohvale GP-0 model with the 160 cubic engine, but has been significantly improved in many areas. The upgrades include an improved chassis to enable a better seating position for taller riders, fully adjustable suspension with Mupo damper inserts for the fork and an Ohlins shock absorber at the rear, a paint job in the typical PSRT look, additional winglets on the Fairing, Dell’Orto carburetor and a redesigned Arrow exhaust system. There are exclusive Pirelli tires on the ten-inch wheels and a digital instrument with GPS tracking in the cockpit. Each machine is also provided with a sticker on the fork bridge, which documents that it belongs to the special series.

Special Series MiniGP 9,600 euros plus tax

Every customer receives an exclusive bike package consisting of tire warmers, a racing carpet and a bike cover. A selection of replacement parts with a range of sprockets and pinions is also supplied.

The minibikes can be pre-ordered now. Deliveries will start in September. PSRT names 9,600 euros plus taxes and ancillary costs as the price.

Conclusion

PSRT and Ohvale are launching a mini GP racer that is visually based on the MotoGP machines. Only 46 pieces will be built.
