New look, new engine, new features

EICMA 2019

Piaggio has completely redesigned the popular roller medley. The new 125 and 150 versions have now been presented at EICMA.

The Piaggio Medley is somewhere between the large wheel scooters and the sporty GT scooters of the brand – accordingly, as a good everyday mule, he has won over a lot of fans. For the 2020 model year, Piaggio has extensively revised the medley. The new medley will celebrate its premiere at EICMA in Milan.

Two full-face helmets fit under the seat

The new Piaggio Medley can be recognized by its new LED headlights, the new front panel with a three-dimensional grille and the new LCD cockpit and turn signals that have been converted to LED technology. The new MIA connectivity package integrates smartphones via Bluetooth and the newly designed bench seat with electrical locking is intended to increase comfort. Two full-face helmets fit in the 36 liter storage compartment underneath. There were new editions for the running boards. On the inside of the front mask, a USB socket and a luggage hook increase the suitability for everyday use.

The single-cylinder four-stroke injection engines, which are equipped with a starter generator, have also been refreshed. The 125 version produces 15 hp and 12 Nm. The 150 version has a peak output of 16.5 hp and 15 Nm. Both are now combined with a start-stop system and a two-channel ABS as standard. In the chassis area, the 16-inch wheel remains at the front, while a wider 120/70 tire is now used on a 14-inch rim at the rear. The Piaggio Medley, which weighs 136 kilograms, is available in the Medley and Medley S versions. Prices have not yet been announced.
