Recall Triumph Street Triple R / RS (2018)
Leaking handlebar fittings
Triumph has launched a recall for the 2018 Triumph Street Triple R (including the low seat version) and Triumph Street Triple RS models.
A leak in the switches on the left side of the handlebars can cause water to enter. This can cause the indicators and headlights to malfunction. Since this can lead to dangerous situations in road traffic, Triumph calls the 2018 models S.treet Triple R, Street Triple R version with the low seat height and Street Triple RS back. In the workshop, the leaky components are replaced with new components.
The recall was initially started in the United States. When we asked the manufacturer, we were confirmed that German models are also affected by the recall and that their owners will be contacted by the KBA within the next two weeks.
