Rev’it Sirius 2 H20: tried winter gloves
Rev’it Sirius 2 H20
Tried winter gloves
The Rev’it Sirius 2 H20 is a motorcycle glove that, according to the manufacturer, should be especially suitable for use in winter. We tried the new H20.

As the successor to the Sirius H2O, the successor with the 2 in its name is actually intended as a waterproof winter glove. “Actually” because he only met this promise in the test to a limited extent. Compared to the well-known, lavishly lined gloves, it is noticeably less warm in winter and, in our opinion, is more recommended for the transition period into autumn or spring. There is slight criticism of the rather narrow entry point, strong criticism of the promised but non-existent rubber lip on the index finger.
Deduction of points for insufficient water resistance
The smartphone operation works without any problems, for this purpose, appropriate inserts on the index finger have been incorporated into the glove, which is otherwise made of goatskin and polyamide. The knuckle protectors are made of the plastic TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), so the glove corresponds to protection level 1. Thanks to the velvety soft Thinsulate lining made of microfiber fleece, the glove feels very comfortable, and our testers also liked the fit.
In our test, however, the inadequate water resistance leads to a massive point deduction: Brief downpours are not a problem, but the Rev’it Siruis 2 H2O showed leaks in our tests when driving for more than 30 minutes. Detaching seams on the palm also spoil the overall impression. As a normal motorcycle glove, the Sirius 2 H2O does a good job overall, but it is not recommended as a waterproof winter glove.
Noticed positively: Very comfortable, decent protection
Noticeable negatively: Not really warm, only partially waterproof
Sizes: S to 3XL
Price: 119.99 euros
MOTORCYCLE Rating: 2 stars out of a possible 5
Conclusion
In principle, the Rev’it Sirius 2 H20 is actually not a bad glove, but it does not meet the requirements placed on a glove that is specifically designed for winter. Pity!
