You can hardly get any closer to the Z1 900

RF Biketech from Nudingen near Bad Kissingen is a Kawasaki dealer and gifted remodeler. Based on the Kawasaki Z 900 RS, the Classic Edition was created, which is optically based on the legendary Z1 900.

The RF Biketech was presented for the first time Kawasaki Z 900 RS Classic Edition already in December 2018 at the Custom Bike Show in Bad Salzuflen. Now the classic bike is available as a total work of art or all parts necessary for the conversion.

As an official Kawasaki dealer, RF Biketech offers its Classic Edition as a complete vehicle at prices from 19,999 euros with a two-year warranty. Anyone who already owns a Z 900 RS or a Z 900 Cafe can purchase all components individually. Partial modifications are also possible according to customer requirements.

Four-in-one-in-two system and spoked wheels

But let’s get to the components that make the Z 900 RS a Classic Edition. First of all, there is the chrome-plated (optionally also black ceramic-coated) four-in-one-in-two exhaust system from the Japanese supplier Doremi, which is equipped with a catalytic converter and a lambda probe connection and can also be registered at RF Biketech. The system, which costs 2,999 euros, also includes a left passenger footrest with holder.

Also very striking are the spoked wheels that RF Biketech uses in the dimensions 3.5×17 and 5.5×17 inches. At a price of 2,399 euros, the wheel set is available with all distances and certificates either in polished or black powder-coated. Then tires with tubes have to be driven. The two chrome fenders for the front (289 euros) and rear (249 euros) are also really retro. There is also a matching round rear light to match the rear fender (106 euros). The flanks can be upgraded with new two-part side covers (159 euros each), which are supplied in the original color / carbon.

The conversion is rounded off by picture plugs for various frame openings, new lamp holders, a new chain guard, new levers, LED mini indicators, radiator bezels, special engine housing covers, tank emblems, polished attachments and a special paint job.
