Trailer shows new features

Milestone has announced a new motorcycle simulation to be released on October 8, 2020. Ride 4 will be available for PS4, Xbox One and Steam (PC). At the end of July, a new trailer was released showing some features of the game.

D.he motorcycle simulation Ride will enter its fourth round in autumn 2020. The Italian developer Milestone has announced the video game, which will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam (Windows PC), for October 8, 2020. From January 21, 2021, an upgrade to Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X should also be available.

As in the previous games, gamers can also go on the slopes in the fourth part of the series with street motorcycles, which can also be customized with various accessories. According to the developer Milestone, a lot has also happened in terms of realism and driving physics. Ride 4 should be suitable for both beginners and professionals. However, completely newly developed driving physics cannot be assumed – much more is to be expected that the driving physics that we know from the predecessor or the current MotoGP video game have been further developed in some places. In a trailer that was released in late July 2020, some new bikes, tracks and features of the game were shown:

New career mode on board

Yamaha was able to be won as a partner for the fourth offshoot of the series, whereby the motorcycle models should be even more realistic thanks to CAD and 3D scans. The partnership should also have a positive impact on the game’s esports ambitions. Of course, motorcycles from other manufacturers will also be represented in the game. In addition to the Yamaha YZF-R1, the first screenshots show models from Honda and MV Agusta.

Ride 4 is scheduled for October 8, 2020.

Milestone has announced a heavily revised career mode for Ride 4. Players should be able to decide which racing career path they want to take. Through targeted action, players should be able to decide which events to participate in – this in turn should have a greater influence on the development of the virtual "I … it" to have. Apart from that, the latest motorcycle simulation from Milestone wants to inspire with various multiplayer competitions.

Another new feature is a long-distance mode, which is very simulation-heavy and should be especially suitable for advanced players. Racing strategies, including fuel and tire management, should also play an important role in the new mode. Changing light and weather conditions should provide additional realism. Milestone has so far been reluctant to provide detailed information. That will certainly change by the time the game is released. In the past, Milestone had published new information about new games from time to time. In addition to the first screenshots, Milestone has released a trailer that we would not like to withhold from you:

Ride 4 can be pre-ordered now. Every pre-orderer of the Standard Edition for PS4 or Xbox One receives a bonus package with two iconic bikes, five new events and an additional achievement / trophy. The Special Edition bonus package includes four iconic bikes, ten new events, two additional achievements / two additional trophies and three days of exclusive access before launch. On Steam, the pre-order bonus guarantees a discount of 10 percent on the game, two bikes, five events and an additional achievement.

Conclusion

The Ride series is very popular among motorcycle simulation fans. Especially players who are not enthusiastic about the MotoGP games and would rather be on the road with street bikes on virtual roads get new food with Ride 4.
