Exo-Fighter, Exo-Tech Pulse and Covert-X are new

Scorpion is entering 2020 with three new helmet models. The Scorpion Exo-Fighter, the Scorpion Exo-Tech Pulse and the Scorpion Covert-X are new. Apart from that, the Exo R1 Air will be available as a “Quartararo” and carbon version.

Scorpion Exo-Fighter

The new Scorpion Exo-Fighter is primarily aimed at owners and drivers of motorcycles in retro or street fighter style. The helmet made of fiberglass has been equipped with a new and patented magnetic visor mechanism with which the new Exo-Fighter can be used with a fixed open or closed visor. Optionally, the helmet can be upgraded with an umbrella. A sun blonde is also on board. Also included are a removable inner lining, a chin strap fastener, adjustable head and front ventilation and the so-called Kwikfit glasses system.

The new Scorpion helmet is manufactured in two shell sizes. With the helmet size you can choose between XS to XXL. The prices for the Exo-Fighter start at 299.90 euros.

Scorpion Covert-X

The Covert-X is also new to the Scorpion model range. The special feature of the new helmet is the removable chin part, which transforms the Covert-X into a jet helmet. Scorpion himself describes the new helmet as the improved successor model of the Scorpion Transformer, which is said to have lost weight in comparison, for example. Similar to the Exo-Fighter, the Covert-X is also made of fiberglass. There are also other similarities, such as the chinstrap closure, the removable inner material, and the fold-out sun visor.

The Scorpion Covert-X is also manufactured in two shell sizes, which means that buyers can choose between helmet sizes XS to XXL. The Covert-X is available from 279.90 euros.

Scorpion Exo-Tech Pulse

The new Scorpion Exo-Tech Pulse flip-up helmet uses a 180-degree chin part rotation instead of the usual flip-up mechanism. Thanks to a special mechanism, the chin section of the Exo-Tech Pulse can be opened quickly, with the visor and chin section opening at the same time. Even when open, the helmet should offer very good aerodynamics, thanks to certification as a jet and full-face helmet, the Exo-Tech Pulse can also be driven open.

Scorpion’s top model, the Exo R1 Air, will also be offered in two new versions in 2020. The Exo R1 Air Carbon wants to score with a lighter outer shell and be even safer in comparison. The “Quartararo”, on the other hand, is a new variant that was created in honor of the MotoGP shooting star Fabio Quartararo and is based on the Exo R1 Air Composite.
