Special model derived from the factory racer

The KTM 350 EXC-F WESS 2021 is derived from the KTM factory bike that was built for the WESS (World Enduro Super Series). With this enduro, fans should get closer to a factory machine than ever before.

Real factory material is on the KTM 350 EXC-F WESS 2021 installed, because the WP XACT air suspension fork springs at the front – with a diameter of 48 mm. This is a novelty for a KTM enduro. The upgrade of the Enduro also includes, for example, the factory wheels with anodized hubs, a radiator fan and radiator protection, a factory race seat, the gray ODI handles, an orange-colored oil filler plug, a Supersprox stealth sprocket, the safety wiring of the rear brake and a CNC-machined, orange fork bridge. The map select switch is built into the WESS special model as standard. It can be used to select alternative engine mappings on the handlebars and activate traction control – even while driving.

MRD 2020-21 sports enduro bikes in a comparison test

350 EXC-F open with 50 HP power *

In order to underline their closeness to the competition bike even more clearly, the 4-stroke special model KTM 350 EXC-F WESS with its orange frame is also adorned with exclusive graphics from the World Enduro Super Series. Furthermore, the KTM 350 EXC-F WESS 2021 rolls on with engine protection, floating 260 mm brake disc including brake disc protection at the front and a 220 mm solid brake disc at the rear.

The 350 single-cylinder with two overhead camshafts and electronic fuel injection is said to impress with its enormous power-to-weight ratio: it weighs 28 kilograms, while on the MOTORRAD dynamometer it last (September 2020) put 50 hp at 10,400 rpm . Of course, the enduro is not approved for road use when it is not throttled. With a considerable loss of power, a license plate would actually be possible thanks to the Euro 4-capable engine.

Comparison test against Beta, Husky and Sherco

The MOTORRAD testers also weighed the basic KTM 350 EXC-F at 106 kilograms. Like all EXC models, the KTM 350 EXC-F WESS 2021 has a chrome-molybdenum steel frame, which, in addition to optimal rigidity, should also ensure good feedback and handling.

The KTM 350 EXC-F WESS 2021 is available for 11,888 euros. The basic model costs 10,474 euros.
