Textile suit in the long-term test
With the Globetracker H2Out, Sidi offers a textile combination with a three-layer laminate system. MOTORRAD examined the station wagon for a year.

Nowadays, you can almost assume that a modern textile combination with a three-layer laminate system, a removable down jacket that can be worn separately and good safety equipment will appeal and reap goodwill after a few kilometers with a product from a premium manufacturer. But what does it look like after a year of continuous use? How does it fare in sub-zero temperatures, like in California dryness and heat?
Waterproof, warm and breathable
Well, what is most convincing in everyday life, besides the uniform waterproofness of the suit, is the collar that can be adjusted with a Velcro fastener and press stud, the removable suspenders and the trouser leg that can be closed from the back. In summer, the suit, worn without a lining, proved to be extremely breathable, and the closable ventilation openings were effective. In the freezing cold, the Globetracker provided sufficient insulation. Accordingly, the station wagon completes year-round use with flying colors. The too narrow connection zipper on the jacket and pants is less appealing. If there is no lining in the latter, the inadequately secured protectors (pockets) also interfere with putting on. Except for a few small things, an all-round recommendable and weatherproof combination. Top!
MOTORCYCLE check
MOTORRAD awards 4 out of 5 stars.
- The weather resistance and breathability were positive
- The connection zipper that was too short was noticeable negatively
It is available Spidi Globetracker H2Out in sizes M to 4XL. The price for the jacket is 799.90 euros, the trousers 599.99 euros.
