“Night Run” is what Suzuki calls an open-brand sprint race that anyone over the age of 18 can take part. Requirements are a valid driver’s license, protective clothing and a registered motorcycle with TuV – it does not have to be a Suzuki. In 2019 there should have been three dates. The first race was supposed to take place north of Hamburg, but was canceled at short notice at the beginning of May. At that time, Suzuki announced that the second race west of Leipzig and the third in the Odenwald would also be on the brink.

Now on May 24th, Suzuki announces that the two outstanding dates of the Night Run will also be canceled. Organizational reasons were decisive for this decision, as a result of which a satisfactory course of the event could not be guaranteed for us. Suzuki cited problems with insurance as the reason for the cancellation.

These Suzuki Night Run dates were planned:

May 4, 2019: Night Run North
Hungry Wolf Airfield
Hungriger Wolf Business Park, Towerstrasse 22, 25551 Hohenlockstedt

July 13, 2019: Night Run East
Allstedt airfield, 06542 Allstedt

August 17, 2019: Night Run South
Mosbach / Lohrbach Airfield, at Flugplatz 1, 74821 Mosbach

Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
The race starts at 5:00 p.m.
Last race 11 p.m.

The event is not just for those who want to sprint. Watch, cheer, test drive new Suzuki models – there is a lot to see, hear and try out for young and old. And it’s really cool: the Suzuki Night Run is free for both spectators and starters. Information and registration at news / suzuki.de / nightrun or directly on site.
