Test Moto Guzzi Bellagio

What am I?

Bellagio ?? you just have to let it melt in your mouth, because the Dolce Vita literally resonates. The Guzzi cruiser got its name from a picturesque place on Lake Como, not far from the Guzzi residence.

Und it goes wonderfully with your appetizing appearance. The matt black contrasts attractively with bare aluminum and chrome and the pretty wire-spoke wheels with aluminum rims. The design is given a sporty spice by the cute, short rear end and the fat elbows that flow into a double pipe system. As does the sound.

An almost anachronistic choke lever helps the idle speed not to stumble after cold nights, and so the 940-V2 raises its voice satisfied with a gentle bubbling. It goes to work at low speeds without a wild rumble, rather gently drumming and pleasantly pulsating.

However, even without developing real penetrating power in the lower speed range. A look at the performance diagram shows why: In the middle area, the V2 allows itself a good breather. To then storm off all the more energetically. The twin develops an impressive 74 hp at the top with an impressive roar.

Both the active, relaxed seating position with a sporty knee angle and the extremely agile handling match this sporty characteristic.

In addition to the lush freedom of lean angle, the sufficiently tightly tuned fork, which is supported by an even tighter strut, ensures that nothing burns on the chassis at high speeds. And, as soon as they are up to temperature, the powerfully gripping double-piston floating calipers on the front brake. The Bellagio turns out to be a lively roadster on a trip into the hinterland with all its cruiser looks.
