On the one hand, you have the Hamburger, the sandwich, the pizza, the sushi tray … In short, snacks available everywhere and which are eaten quickly. And then, towards Sommieres, you with a roadster with a pronounced, strong, deep, gripping taste. A machine that moves you without even starting. A motorcycle with an acute sense of purity, a violent mechanical intoxication and a patina of passion suggested in each piece. But it is also an elitist tariff, an almost spiritual requirement; and yet, this Avinton wants to endow its pilot with a certain versatility.
The Collector Roadster; so it is called, and is distinguished from the Race and GT versions by the adoption of a handlebar. Offering a less sporty driving position, it allows the pilot to appreciate a surplus of comfort, maneuverability and grip without sacrificing too much in performance. Specific triple trees improve the turning radius. And then, what cachet! The aluminum spawns cut in the mass are delightful to detail. And delicacies like that, the Avinton has no shortage.
Sculpted like the AC Cobra from which it claims to be the offspring in two-wheelers, beautiful, almost elusive, the Avinton Roadster lacks neither visual plumb nor motor character. The French brand called on the engine manufacturer S&S to propel its models. Huge and thrilling, a 1647 cm3 twin bursts in the rib cage of this muscle-bike. A blow of gas and the road like the tire know they are going to be seized alive. From the guts of the engine come a total of 120 horsepower at 5750 rpm, and heavy torque of 17.1 mkg at 3000 rpm. And all around, a selection of high-quality peripherals and parts.
Although the attack price is already in the luxury category, you just have to choose one of the 6 available finishes – Original – Vintage – Deluxe – Grand Sport – Super Snake – Cult – more than a few options to quickly increase the bill high, very high. But don’t believe the photos or the numbers. When you enter Avinton, you cross a border where personalization has almost no limits if your budget falls within the criteria of the CAC 40.
