BMW C 400 GT at EICMA
Middle class scooter is more suitable for touring
With the C 400 X, BMW presented a sporty mid-range scooter in 2017. At EICMA 2018, the X will be accompanied by the BMW C 400 GT. Its focus is on touring suitability.
Unter the plastic cover, the BMW C 400 GT also uses the same technology as the C 400 X. The 350 cm³ single cylinder develops 34 hp, 35 Nm and transmits its drive torque to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and a drive train. A steel tubular space frame serves as the basic structure.
Larger front fairing
The BMW C 400 GT is differentiated from the X by means of various add-on parts. The higher windshield should provide better wind and weather protection. The entire upper part of the front fairing has also been redesigned and now accommodates a wide double LED headlight. The C 400 GT comes with the keyless ride system as standard. The new C 400 GT takes the increased comfort qualities into account in the form of a bench seat with a separate driver backrest as well as individual seats and pillion footboards instead of footrests. The seat height is 775 mm. A bench with a seat height of 760 mm is also available as an option.
