Updates for BMW’s F-Enduros

BMW F 700 GS, BMW F 800 GS and BMW F 800 GS Adventure will receive a revision including a Euro4 update for the 2017 model year.

As before, the BMW F 700 GS is best trimmed for asphalt operation and all-round talent. The F 800 GS proliferates with distinctive off-road capabilities, which the F. 800 GS Adventure with its claim to be able to travel the world again.

What all three models have in common is the 798 cm³ in-line twin-cylinder, which complies with the Euro4 emissions standard that will become mandatory from 2017. If you are looking for visual differences to the 2016 models, you will find what you are looking for in the end cap of the silencer, for example.

From model year 2017, the BMW F 700 GS, F 800 GS and F 800 GS Adventure will be controlled via an electronic throttle. The manufacturer hopes that this will improve the controllability of the engine power and improve the response. All three models offer the two driving modes as standard "Rain" and "Road", the mode is optional "Enduro" available, for F 800 GS and F 800 GS Adventure there is also the mode "Enduro Pro".

Optical retouching was given to the cockpits and the paintwork; BMW also points out the recently galvanized radiator fairings, the new airbox cover and the new ignition lock housing on all three models.

A comprehensive range of accessories, typical of BMW, is available for all three models, from heated grips to LED indicators, main stands, lowering kits, Akrapovič sport silencers, luggage systems and windshield variants, as well as navigation devices and crash bars.

F 700 GS 55 kW (75 PS) at 7000 rpm and offers a maximum torque of 77 Nm at 5500 rpm.

The two driving modes are available as standard "Road" and "Rain", optional is a "Enduro"-Mode available. This should be characterized by a particularly soft throttle response and facilitate light off-road use with road tires.

The BMW F 700 GS stands on 19 and 17-inch wheels made of cast light alloy, weighs 212 kg and has a payload of 224 kg. Your tank holds 16 liters of fuel.
