Update for the street version too

After the BMW G 310 GS, which has already been presented, the Bavarians are now also pulling the towel from the revised road version of the 310. The model update of the G 310 R is also rather subtle.

The new BMW G Like the G 310 GS, the 310 R was developed in Munich. Both entry-level models will continue to be produced by BMW partner TVS in India.

The G 310 R for the 2021 model year has now also been unveiled there. As with the sister model, the lighting now uses LED technology all round. The headlights, indicators and rear lights come as LED lights. Both the clutch lever and the handbrake lever are now adjustable in four stages. As on the GS, the engine covers for the alternator, clutch and water pump are made in the new color Titanium Gray Metallic. On the BMW G 310 R, the rear footrest plates and the handles also have this color.

E-gas and new colors

Adapted to Euro 5, but unchanged in terms of performance, the 313 cm³ single cylinder remains. The credit account still has 34 hp and 28 Nm. For use in the new BMW G 310 R, the engine was equipped with e-gas. An automatic increase in idle speed when starting up also prevents the engine from suddenly stalling. The self-reinforcing anti-hopping clutch with significantly reduced operating forces on the clutch lever is also new.

The revised BMW G 310 R is available in the colors Cosmic Black, Polar White and im "Sport style" in Limestone Metallic with red rims and red painted frame.

The price for the G 310 R is quoted by BMW 5,300 euros (19% VAT). The sister model GS starts at 6,180 euros. The BMW G 310 R will go on sale from March 2021.
