In the neo-retro segment, the NineT is a masterstroke. Two of its variations are suitable for all kinds of customization. La Pure allows all passion to express itself; the Scrambler directs tastes more towards an urban adventurer trend.
BMW France has chosen the second variant to celebrate the latest adventures of Michel Vaillant. The comic book hero pursues speed and the clock in Macau while this limited series of NineT will come to life under the existence of only 13 copies. A reference to Michel Vaillant’s favorite race number. This Scrambler will be manufactured on request from the BMW Motorrad France dealer network. The latter will use his know-how in terms of customization to produce each model in his workshops..
The design of this limited series was entrusted to Stephane Brun, already at the origin of the BMW Z4 GT3 “Vaillante”. The central element of personalization is the white tank on which is painted the famous “VROOW”, faithful to the comic strip boards, in bluish gray accompanied by two “Vaillante” inscriptions. This exclusive painting is enhanced by a numbered plaque produced by B.R.M Chronographes. In addition to the special attention paid to the tank, the motorcycle is equipped with a multitude of equipment from the Behème catalog decorated in the colors of Michel Vaillant: “scrambler” type screen, protective grille for the front optics decorated with the letter “V”, logos, number plates # 13, single-seater saddle with its skirt, spoked rims … What to charm his “cousin” Julie Wood.
The BMW R Nine T Scrambler Vaillante was presented to the public at the Lyon 2 Wheels Show (March 14 to 17, 2019). Then, amateurs can approach their concession to request one of the 13 celebrated.
