While the K 1300 R and F 800 R are going to cause a mess in the streets, the R 1200 R retains its good manners and is keen to show a respectable upbringing. When we come down from a line where 1100 R, 80 R and cousins lived, we stand like a lady and we will not kick the face like that.
This Classic version of the new R 1200 R displays a certain elegance of the good old days, as the old ones would say. It abandons the spoked rims to put on spoke models, as in the past. To complete, the mirrors are chrome and the paint on the technical parts differs from the standard model: the Classic is covered in an aluminum gray on the frame, the engine, the Telelever and the Paralever, while the R 1200 R chooses black. for the trellis and bronze sound tubes to dress cylinder heads and ground connection elements.
On the menu of this Classic, classic performances? What a slab! The boxer with HP2 Sport genes and his 110 horsepower is just waiting to be expressed. The previous one lacked neither speed nor efficiency – it can only be as good if not better.
