This is the case for all the participants of this 2009 edition, in particular Dominique Meliand who hopes to find his second GSX-R, Christophe Guyot who is already aiming for the 24H of Le Mans 2010 or Matthieu Lagrive who hopes to get back on the podium with the Honda # 63 in the Michelin Power Research Team … but this time to stay there !

But this is also particularly the case for Robert Doron, the emblematic boss of the Paris Nord Moto and Center Bike dealerships in Aulnay-sous-Bois (93), who entrusted us with his already "almost tied up" project to participate in the Bol d ‘Gold 2010 with its brand new competition department !

For a dealer, getting involved in a race like the Bol d’Or or a championship is not easy. And the financial aspect is not the only brake in these less favorable times for business: the upstream organization and preparation are hardly compatible with the daily functioning of these SMEs …

Interviewed by Site this weekend at Magny-Cours on the Maccio Racing stand of which he is a partner, Robert Doron fondly recalled his participation in the Bol d’Or in 2002 with the involvement of the entire dealership: " in 2002, we took part in the Bol d’Or with a Kawa and we finished 12th. All the preparation had been done within the dealership and of the 17 store employees, 15 were involved! only a pilot and a cook It was a great moment and a very positive team motivation tool, even if it disorganized the store during this challenge … For 2010, I plan to come back in competition and allow our customers to share our passion for racing "…
