Cagiva likes the twin, especially the Suzuki one. The TLS twin also equips the Raptor but also this Navigator. A big trail with a pleasant and nicely drawn design. Let’s not forget that Cagiva and MV-Agusta are related. Once in the saddle, you discover a fine and fluid machine, a pleasant feeling of lightness, and a sport-oriented riding position – almost supermotard in fact.. Good idea when you know the fiery and playful temperament of the Suzuki twin. The originality has not been forgotten, evidenced by the fork crown “insect mug” but pretty, or the tank with 2 fuel hatches..
The dashboard is complete, not the readability which would benefit from having larger dials. The frame, a trellis mixture of boxes and tubes, allows a serene driving as well as playful while remaining safe and balanced. The handling of the machine is obvious, the liveliness surprising, and the engine delectable. Powerful but above all torquey, it takes the Navigator with ease on small mountain roads. The machine spins and plays with the road. In the family of big trails, the Navigator is the only one equipped with an 18 “wheel at the front, allowing it to afford road tires. The open road does not scare it, while the rider will appreciate a little less: the saddle is hard and limited protection at sustained speed. The braking is sufficient but the machine deserves more efficient brakes. The big Cagiva trail has a very Italian temperament, a Japanese heart, fishing and fun which gives you a lot of pleasure.
