CB 1000 R conversions presented

Honda show at the Wheels and Waves Festival

At the Wheels and Waves Festival 2019 in Biarritz, France, Honda celebrated 50 years of the four-cylinder in-line engine with the presentation of eleven conversions of the CB 1000 R from Spain, France, Italy and Switzerland.

Honda Europe mixes these among eleven private conversions VS.B 1000 R Limited Edition, 350 of which will be produced and sold in Italy, Spain, France and Germany. Price: 16,390 euros.

The occasion is the 50th anniversary of the Honda inline four-cylinder, which debuted in the CB 750 in 1969. That is why eleven of the best European customized versions of the current series flagship CB 1000 R were exhibited. German conversions are not represented. Three of the bikes were rebuilt in Spain, two in Switzerland, three in Italy and four in France.

From the radical race bike in Pikes Peak Style to the “Africa Four”, the customizers partly reinterpreted the Neo Sports Cafe Style or took completely new paths. The undisputed favorite of the author is the "Monkey Kong" christened CB from Honda Mallorca Motos, which was built for the Spanish custom competition Honda Garage Dreams.
