Special series inspired by Carl Fogarty

The British small-series manufacturer CCM has caught racing legend Carl Fogarty and built a special model of the Spitfire together with the ex-superbike world champion.

Carl Fogarty has won the Superbike World Championship four times, now King Carl has won for C.CM assembled a special series of the Spitfire. Only 300 copies are to be built, and Foggy kept one for himself.

Special specifications according to Foggy requirements

The features inspired by Carl Fogarty include a new exhaust system laid under the seat hump as well as forged and gold-colored painted 17-inch rims. The seat hump, the new belly pan and the small lamp cover are made of carbon fiber laminate. The front double disc brake system relies on specially drawn HEL radial brake calipers and each of the 300 copies bears the original signature of Carl Fogarty.

The Marzocchi fork in the special model is fully adjustable, and a new K-Tech shock absorber is used on the hindquarters. Customers can choose between two heights for the handlebars: Cafe Racer or Flat Track Style. The appearance of the Foggy Edition is rounded off by a gold-colored frame and red painted trim parts.

As the icing on the cake, the 600 cm³ single-cylinder has a modified engine management system that is supposed to elicit 62 HP and 66 Nm of torque from the single. Enough to drive the Foggy Edition, which weighs only 135 kilograms when dry, sufficiently dynamically.

So much foggy comes at a price. CCM charges the equivalent of around 14,300 euros for the Foggy Edition.
