Dainese is known for its leather suits and textile clothing for motorcyclists. The Italians are also successful when it comes to airbag clothing. As early as 2007, the Italians added a helmet brand to the brand portfolio with the acquisition of AGV.

TCX future still uncertain

Now follows with TCX, who are on the road in the off-road segment as well as in the road and racing sector, a boot specialist with a lot of know-how, who is supposed to complement its own range of boots. How the brand TCX, which was founded in 1999, is to be integrated into its own shoe range Dainese still open.

The notification from Dainese also does not provide any information as to whether the TCX site in Montebelluna will remain or whether boot production will be relocated. TCX also has plants in Romania, Cambodia and Indonesia.

In any case, one thing is clear: With the acquisition, Dainese will in future cover the entire range of protective clothing from head to toe even more broadly. TCX has belonged to the London-based financial investor Keyhaven Capital Partners Ltd. since 2017. No information was given about the purchase price.
