A lot of enthusiasm and volunteering is a prerequisite for getting an IDM event off the ground. Experience has shown that this is the case on all routes. But there are also generous patrons in Schleiz.

One week before the IDM from July 28th to 30th, the people from Schleizer and their helpers really packed up again. Almost 80 employees handled a lot of things in the organization and, above all, a lot of wood. Two natural grandstands were cleared of rotten stock, construction fences were erected, the lawn was mowed, and many little things were prepared for route safety. Cool thing: Valtra Germany and Matrak Service und Lohnarbeits GmbH reached into their pockets and donated 3,000 euros for the maintenance of the Buchhubel grandstands. This enabled a part to be renewed. The viewer really sits in the front row.
