With the “Grand Tour”, an upgraded version of the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S will roll onto the streets in model year 2020, which comes with a few extras.

In addition to the visual changes, attentive observers should first notice the two suitcases that come with the D.ucati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour are standard on board. Compared to the basic variant, Ducati also gives the Grand Tour a main stand, heated grips, additional headlights and a tire pressure sensor. When it comes to painting, Ducati uses the color "Sandstone Gray". In addition to the rather dark base coat, some components are kept in red. In some places, such as the seat, the “Grand Tour” logo can also be seen.

Otherwise, the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour does not differ technically from the already known Multistrada 1260 S. It is also powered by the V2 Testastretta engine with 1,262 cm³. Even with the performance data, everything remains the same – the V2 continues to push 159 hp at 9,500 rpm and 130 Nm at 7,500 rpm. As with the basic Multistrada 1260 S, the Ducati Multimedia System is standard on board. Also included are wheelie and traction control, a quickshifter, cornering ABS, hill start assist, LCD instruments and cruise control.

Prices start at 21,390 euros

It is not yet known when the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour will hit the streets. Ducati has already commented on the price: Those interested in the new Ducati bike will have to invest 21,390 euros. This makes the Grand Tour a little more expensive compared to the Basic S, which is available from 19,690 euros.
