Ducati 998 S FINAL EDITION 2004

Menus

The 998, the last descendant of the legendary 916, bids farewell. For its 10 years, the one that will remain as one of the finest achievements in motorcycling history offers its ultimate “tifosi” this latest limited series. Available only on order, until the end of October 2004, this 998 S version is adorned with certain decorations evoking the prestigious past of the Italian superbike..

The triple clamp is adorned with a silver plaque stamped with the inscription “DUCATI 998S Final Edition”, the saddle sides are decorated with the Italian flag as well as the epitaph “Ducati Campione del Mondo”, and the fuel tank recalls the exploits of the diva DUCATI 998 S FINAL EDITION(8 titles, 115 races won) crowned with the laurels of victories. The eternal plastic hides praiseworthy innards: still the trellis frame imprisoning the twin “Testastretta” inaugurated on the 996 R, as well as suspension and a steering damper Ohlins. A tribute to fame for a queen’s last dance.
