At the beginning of November, Ducati and the fashion brand Italia Independent announced a collaboration agreement extending over 3 years and relating to the Ducati Scrambler. A logo specific to future joint productions was also presented on this occasion..
We did not have to wait long to see the first fruits of this partnership. Indeed, the two Italian brands took advantage of the prestigious contemporary art exhibition “Art Basel” in Miami to unveil a limited edition Ducati Scrambler and a dedicated collection of sunglasses inspired by the “Land of Joy”, the theme that characterizes the iconic motorcycles made in Bologna.
The new Ducati Scrambler Italia Independent is therefore an original and unique interpretation of this motorcycle, targeting customers interested in new trends. Created in a limited edition with only 1,077 copies, the bike features an aluminum plate on which is laser-engraved the serial number of each of the copies. The Ducati Scrambler – Italia Independent logo is present on both sides of the tank, as well as on the exclusive leather upholstery.
This Scrambler Italia Independent model, which is inspired by “cafe racer”, underlines it thanks to various artisanal details: a black machined engine with fine fins on the cylinder heads, a black anodized exhaust with Termignoni silencer, a low handlebar. variable section and aluminum mirrors mounted on its ends.
While the frame and the rims are adorned with a “Night Cooper” color (a color created especially for this edition), the matt black color of the whole bike as well as the side elements of the tank which receive a treatment of brushing underline the “cafe racer” style of this new version of the Italian Scrambler.
Alongside this unique motorcycle, Italia Independent presented a pair of sunglasses dedicated and inspired by this version of the Ducati Scrambler. Both classic and timeless, they are dark black with a rubber surface treatment. The copper colored glasses are reminiscent of the motorcycle frame and the interior surface is also colored in the frame image and with a brushed effect.
A complete range of glasses includes four other models based on the different versions of the Ducati Scrambler, reproducing their aesthetics and colors..
Ducati and Italie Independant specify that this new motorcycle and the collection of sunglasses are only the first concrete result of this collaboration between the two brands..
