The title of champion of France 2010 for BMW ?

Of the seven events in the FSBK 2010, two still have to be contested: that of Le Mans this weekend and then that of Albi on September 25 and 26. In Superbike as in Supersport, this means that four races are still to be run, i.e. 100 points (+ 2 points for the poles!) To be won for the best pilots..

Mathematically, five men remain in contention for the title of champion of France 2010: Erwan Nigon (210 points) and Sebastien Gimbert (188) on the two official BMWs, but also Julien Da Costa (141) on Kawasaki as well as Freddy Foray (136 ) and Vincent Philippe (126) on Suzuki.

Logically, however, the title should be played between the two leading BMW S1000RRs, which monopolize the highest step of the podium – or also the second – since the second round at Nogaro. !

So, Erwan or Seb, Seb or Erwan? The two teammates engage in a merciless duel for the 2010 crown, to the delight of BMW France !

Their competitors, the majority of whom also took part in the last 24 Hours of Le Mans, will need to arrive perfectly sharp to hope to steal Sunday‘s victory on the Bugatti circuit from Nigon and Gimbert….

Gregory Leblanc in Supersport

The situation in Supersport is a little less tense for the championship: on the podium since the start of the season, Gregory Leblanc is 70 points ahead of defending champion Mathieu Gines and 94 over Louis Bulle.

But on the track, the pressure does not drop a notch in the 600! Thus, Etienne Masson, Julien Enjolras, David Perret or Axel Maurin are all drivers who can claim the podium or even victory. Will the leader on his ZX-6R n ° 38 be satisfied with ?

In 125, three young drivers are in a pocket handkerchief: Gregory di Carlo (95 points), Kevin Szalai (88) and Jimmy Petit (85) have been on the podium since the beginning of the year and should not leave it this Sunday !

It will nevertheless be necessary to count on Morgan Berchet – still in the race for the title with these 62 points – who will be keen to make up for it after his poor performance at Magny-Cours … And as always, three other disciplines will also be on the program: the Pirelli 600cc Trophy, the Top Twin and the Sidecar.
