The Heritage Classic takes with it more than saddlebags and a windshield. In the motorcycling landscape, it’s a mix of deliciously retro old Cadillacs, Palm Beach rides, and weekend recklessness. 2015 focused on braking. The front disc was widened from 292 to 300 mm. The caliper and master cylinder were redesigned, the latter also benefiting from a performance-enhancing design. With the high friction material of the pads, the effort required on the lever has been reduced almost in half. Harley advertises 40% less for optimal braking. Cruise control is now part of the standard equipment, in addition to H-D Smart, ABS, and all the charm of a classic idea.
