The Breakout carved out a great reputation for itself upon its release. He pleases and does not lack charisma. Now he wants to regain his flamboyance from the beginning, when he was born under the CVO aristocracy. And here it is more striking than ever, becoming the Pro Street Breakout. More muscular, darker, straight out of the clutches of a demon, the machine promises to be mephistophelic.
Dark and luxurious, with appendages that make it even more combative. The Pro Street Breakout bites its territory with its minimalist fork crown and short engine spoiler. The Agressor wheels with a burnished chrome finish are sure to arouse the curiosity of enthusiasts, who will not only have this pretext to highlight the work of the Custom Vehicle Operations workshops. But before we dive into the luxury of this Harley, let’s turn our attention to its front end. The Pro Street reinforces the Breakout’s bow with an inverted 43mm fork held by new triple trees, the lower one featuring 3 clamping points.
A CVO is big style and no less big engine. The Screamin ‘Eagle Twin Cam 110B fulfills that function, with 1,801cc of fat and metal. Here in its version with balancing arm, the American block pushes with 15.4 mkg of maximum torque at 3500 rpm. Thus, it delivers almost 2 mkg more than the standard Breakout powered by the TC 103.
Don’t just look at those numbers … Walk up to him. Appreciate the finish. Taste CVO work. A unique smoked satin chrome finish is placed on the exhausts, rocker rods, cylinder heads and speedometer trim.
After leaving the assembly lines of Milwaukee, the Pro Street Breakout therefore passes into expert hands which will offer it more nobility and justify its trying price. It stands out for its high quality paintings. The rider grabs a drag handlebar with a smoky satin finish, eyes gaze out of the night with a multi-LED headlight, the seat discovers a saddle inspired by speed racing circuits. The MoCo com department knows how to flatter the ego but does not manifest the same vision as us of sports arenas – between the vibrators, the saddles are but pieces of foam as thick as slices of sandwich bread. The inspiration of the Americans goes beyond purely Cartesian demonstrations. We get lost, and risk missing the running boards, anchoring of the gear lever, brake pedal and handles from the Airflow collection.
Like any CVO, the 1800 Pro Street Breakout is produced in a limited edition. It requires 6000 euros more than the Breakout; the price to become the master of an urban and deep creature.
