In its Limited version, the Electra Glide is already a very posh version of Harley-Davidson’s Touring model. Difficult to do better for the manufacturer, except by offering a luxury version from the Custom Vehicle Operations department. The luxury reaches here the possible paroxysm by the American manufacturer. It is no longer a ship or a queen but indeed an empress of the road. Imposing by its dimensions, its quality, its wealth of equipment, its price and its vocation, the CVO 1800 Limited brings together many superlatives of its microcosm.

The Electra 1690 Limited was already providing something to make us salivate, especially since the developments of the Rushmore project. It therefore logically provides the CVO with fine pageantry such as the revised Batwing fairing with central air intake, the BOOM 6.5 GT multimedia station with GPS, touch screen and reading via USB, the passenger seat of good quality, coupled ABS. Reflex, Daymaker headlights, suitcases and the improved tour Pak, cruise control, heated grips, locking of various elements by One-Touch button ….
How to do better? More glamorous? More attractive? Already by grafting it the largest engine available, the 110 ci of 1803 cm3. Thus, the couple leaps beyond 15 mkg. More oomph, character, and the privilege of having water-cooled cylinder heads.

This is not enough for you … I agree. Considering the stifling price of the machine, you are entitled to demand more. Like this high quality painting with hand painted Thunderblade designs; or the heated saddle with dual control; and again the polished chrome Slicer wheels, the led lights, a selection of beautiful parts taken from the Harley catalog – The Airflow collection incorporates heated grips in the model combining black rubber and shiny chrome, a brake pedal and a gear lever, rider and passenger footrests with additional gear and brake levers – and the BOOM multimedia center which offers some exclusives, only for this CVO Limited. GPS offers 3D landmarks, 3D drawings, and three software updates over five years – the amp comes out 75 watts instead of 25 per channel and 16 GB of storage is available in the Jukebox.

A surplus of equipment is invited in 2016, with the appearance of a tire pressure check, which can be checked at any time on the dashboard. A new transponder key replaces the two remote controls and the indicators are now LED. The rider and passenger seats are covered with a new coating combining vynil and perforated leather.

Completely unreasonable, absolutely intoxicating, equipped with the luxury worthy of Swiss watches and flagship of the MoCo, the CVO 1800 Limited takes the crew far beyond the journey.
