Keep the essentials and remove the superfluous to selfishly benefit from the twin cam 88, this is the avowed goal of the Street Bob. In the 1950s, Harley riders kept only the bare minimum on their machines and raced with their hair in the wind. The FXDBI is inspired by this \ “Bobber \” trend, with \ “Ape Hanger \” handlebars, a very low solo seat (the passenger is excluded, his seat and footrests having disappeared), indicators placed under the controls, wire wheels in a wraparound rear fender.
Like all Dyna since 2006, the Twin Cam housed in a new frame. The clutch is smoother and the fork increases to 49mm in diameter. The pleasure has been greatly increased since 2007 with the introduction of the 1584 cc. Better filled, more generous, more torquey, the 96 quickly makes you forget the old 88. With its large and high handlebars and a respectable size, the Street Bob does not seem the easiest to take. Oh surprise, the reverse awaits the driver. The machine is easy to carry around and allows you to have fun to the limit of its angle grip. It rubs fast, and braking, without being catastrophic, is sufficient. Rebel until the end of chrome, the Street Bob is now the entry machine to the Dyna family, with a price of € 13,600. To announce such a price, Harley has not weighed down much in equipment. This was the desired goal. In addition to this very stripped-down identity, the Street Bob has another advantage: an excellent basis for customizing this Dyna as desired..
