The Harley-Davidson Touring range is bloated, bordering on giddy for anyone looking for an American cruise ship. This offer is further reinforced by the return of the Electra Glide Classic – It was withdrawn from the range in 2006 with the twin 1450. Here it is again on the front with the big 103 and its 1690 cm3 of displacement. It replaces the Electra Standard (which it once surpassed) and comes between the Street Glide and the Ultra Limited. The big Twin Cam has an extra dose of torque (it is standard on the entire Touring range) and suits this imposing Tourer perfectly. The equipment is close to that of the Limited but without falling into as much refinement. Bye bye leg protections, passenger speakers and a few odds and ends. Above all, the 1690 Classic has all the assets that have made the Electra famous: the Batwing protective fairing, the Tour Pak trunk with passenger backrest, a pair of side cases, a senatorial seat and a sound system of good quality. The vibrations of the twin-cylinder will take care of singing joy to you throughout the journey.
