In the Sportster lineup, this new Nightster might look like a little scoundrel. Stripped, minimalist, collected like a bad dog ready to gniak up one knee, it captures the Bobber spirit of some big Harleys of today and after the war.. A low saddle, lowered suspensions, few chrome, a threatening black…. the Nightster seems to intimidate the tar before clearing his throat from his 1,200 somersault. The styling effect is not lacking, especially with its truncated rear fender, gussets on the top of the fork tubes, a small reservoir and the perforated belt guard. The must ? We hesitate between the remote license plate or the headlight integrated in the turn signals; all this to leave the rear mudguard blank. No, the must obviously remains the American twin. Sporty, it also delivers a drier sound thanks to the specific exhausts of the XL 1200 N. Even if it is mounted on silent-blocks, the twin-cylinder allows itself to diffuse the adequate vibrations with the manner.
